Two new Ford Transits entered service with the LBSL Network Operations section over the turn of 2010/2011. These were notable for having had hybrid drive conversions by a firm called Ashwoods, whose badging is clearly visible on the radiator grille. They were given the same Incident Response Unit livery as worn by the large fleet of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, and 6985F was sent initially to Kingston. It was photographed parked at Cromwell Road Bus Station on the 12th of January 2011.
