| About: | Im 54 yrs old and like a lot of enthusiasts my age, have gotten back into the hobby now I have more time & money spare. As there are a limited number of locomotives in operation nowadays, compared to my spotting days as a child, I have had to become a wagon enthusiast. Its taken me about 5 yrs of study, but I would say I am a bit of an expert now?.I started spotting as a child in Earlestown, near Warrington and would love to hear from anyone from that area from 1978-1983, and since then I have resided in Maidstone (Kent). I currently live on a boat right next to Wateringbury station, on the Medway Valley Line and can actually see the trains clearly from my settee and bed. Again, I would love to hear from anyone in my area, of any age, interested in freight workings & wagons. Im also a fan of overnighters so would like to hear from anyone with active knowledge of undertaking their own experiences of overnighters? |
