| I have often wondered what is inside the crew-cabs fitted to some of the demountable bodies in the fleet. So, during our visit to Acton Works on 6th March 2007, I held my camera up to the offside window of DB16 mounted on MAN lorry 2589. The answer appears to be bench seats with storage space underneath, lap-belts and not much else. The presence of a fuel filler point on the offside suggests there may also be a heater so, next time I can, I will try for a picture from the other side! |
