| As well as Southall, Derek visited Metroline's 'CELF' works at Perivale on 12th August 2019. Parked there were two brand-new Ford Transit Connect vans. Both had light-bars but were in (as yet) unmarked red. AW19RFF was parked in front of four Enviro 200 buses, while similar AX19ZFR was nearby. | |||

| Note added Thu 09/01/2020 by Thomas Young I didn't notice at the time but this is an example of the '2019 Facelift' Transit Connect. The front end is rather different, with a larger, trapezoid grille. This grille shape is also featured on various other Ford models, including the Transit Mk8 (2020 facelift) and Transit Custom (2018 facelift). |
