Seen lurking at the back of the yard at Acton Town on 3rd August 2003 is 2478M (G924ALM). This Mercedes-Benz 408D was one of five demountable chassis cab units bought in 1990. While the others have been sold, 2478M survives and has been fitted with a car transporter body, presumably to rescue smaller service vehicles.
