39 years and 1300 fleetnumbers separate these two vehicles seen in the yard at Acton on 9th August 2003. On the left is Mercedes-Benz Econic dustcart 2582M (LT02XLL) new in 2002, while on the right is preserved 1282F (580EYU), a Thames Trader Breakdown Tender new in 1963. Note that the latter actually wore red livery during its active life with LT.
