17 Bedford TL-series trucks were bought in 1980 and 1981, comprising 11 dropside lorries, 3 box trucks, 2 articulated units and a single tanker. The tanker was 2274B (GUV274W), a TL1630 model with a 2400-gallon capacity. Remaining in stock until 1993, it outlived all the other examples of the type.
