Just about to start its career with LUL, Mercedes-Benz 410D truck 2542M was seen on delivery on Bollo Lane in August 1993. Note the crew-cab and rubbish cage fitted to the dropside body. The cage was subsequently removed though the mesh-fitted front bolster was retained. It would appear that either the body is wider than the cab, or it is fitted further back than normal.
