The Bedford TL series of truck enjoyed a brief popularity in the service vehicle fleet, with 17 being purchased in 1980 and 1981. Typical of these is 2271B (GUV271W), a TL1000 Dropside Lorry with crew-cab and tail-lift, seen leaving Chiswick works on 11th June 1986.
