Three of the eight AEC Matador breakdown tenders acquired in 1947/1948 lasted until the mid-1970s. 747P was photographed inside Poplar Garage on 24th April 1971 keeping company with some early DMS class buses. Note the covered rear wheels. As far as I know, 747P was the only one of the batch to have this feature.
