Of 27 Dodge Commando trucks bought by London Transport, 15 were dropside lorries with crew-cabs and tail-lifts like 2406D (A406SJD), seen here leaving Chiswick Works on 19th February 1987. New in January 1984, 2406D lasted over nine years and carried grey livery throughout.
