| Panel vans larger than Ford Transits have been very rare in the modern CDS fleet, the only example known being this Mercedes-Benz 609D van new in 1990. 2484M (G794BLM) was painted in standard colours and lettered for London Transport Distribution Services. A similar vehicle was used by bus company Centrewest. In the background of this shot taken at Acton Town are a pair of Vauxhall Movano vans apparently awaiting application of livery details. |
