Standardisation was out of fashion when it came to London Transport's service vehicle purchases of the 1980s, with a wide variety of types being taken. Among these were a pair of Dodge S-series dropside trucks, one with a crew-cab (2424D) and one without (2374D). The latter was caught on film at Hammersmith Butterwick on 7th May 1985.
