A pencilled addition to the Variation Sheets that I am working with (the ones from John Marshall's website) states that UT1-4 were sold to LBPG on 22/08/1974. Assuming this is the London Bus Preservation Group it would be interesting to know what subsequently happened to these trailers.

BEA trailer N173 is one of many shown as being ''withdrawn to BEA as scrap'' on 26/02/1973 following the introduction of the Locomotors J-series trailers. So, either it was returned to BEA following its loan to LTE, or UT1 was in fact a different trailer.

This is most likely ex British European Airways trailer N173, built by Marshalls of Cambridge and taken into stock on 14/03/1967. The variation sheet that shows UT1 taken into stock as a second-hand trailer also shows BEA N173 transferring on loan to LTE on the same date (04/10/1967).
