Subject:	Vehicle SMS730 JGF730K AEC Swift Bus
Text:	SMS730 was used as Horse Bus Information centre outside Baker Street station in August + September 1979 which many would argue was its first use as a service vehicle.As a recruiting bus it suffered a minor accident which pushed in the nearside front sidelight panel so far that the front doors would not shut - it required works repair that was never done, instead it was retained as source of spare parts for SMD91, SMD441 and SPB753. Sold to Allmey and reluctantly scrapped for spares because the kink in the front was too deep to repair cheaply
